MyNetBuddy is a product of Vysion bvba, registered in Belgium. We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable privacy laws.

2.1 Information You Provide

• Account Information: Email address, name, and password when you create an account

• Child Information: Names and ages of children you add to the app (no other personal data is required)

• Payment Information: Processed securely through third-party payment providers (we do not store credit card details)

• Communication: Messages you send through our support channels

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Device Information: Device type, operating system, and app version

• Usage Data: App blocking settings, schedules, and feature usage (anonymized)

• Location Data: Only when School Block feature is enabled, and only to determine if the child is at school (not stored or tracked)

2.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do NOT read or store your child's messages, emails, or private communications

• We do NOT access photos, videos, or personal files on the device

• We do NOT sell any personal data to third parties

• We do NOT track browsing history or store web activity logs

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and maintain the MyNetBuddy Service

• Enable parental control features (app blocking, scheduling, School Block)

• Send important notifications about your child's safety (bullying alerts, emergency button)

• Process your one-time payment

• Provide customer support

• Improve our Service through anonymized analytics

• Comply with legal obligations

4. Children's Privacy

MyNetBuddy is designed to help parents protect their children online. We take children's privacy extremely seriously.

• We collect minimal information about children (name and age only)

• Children cannot create accounts - only parents can set up the Service

• The Child App includes a protected diary feature that is encrypted and only accessible with a code

• We comply with COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) requirements

• Parents have full control over and can delete their children's data at any time

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

• 256-bit SSL/TLS encryption for all data transmission

Our website uses essential cookies to ensure proper functionality. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The MyNetBuddy app does not use cookies.

10. Google Play Data Safety

In accordance with Google Play's Data Safety requirements, we disclose the following:

• Data Collection: We collect account information (email, name) and child profiles (name, age only)

• Data Sharing: We do NOT share personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing

• Data Encryption: All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3

• Data Deletion: Users can request data deletion through the app or by contacting us

• Security Practices: We follow industry-standard security practices and undergo regular security audits

11. Apple App Privacy

In accordance with Apple's App Store privacy requirements, we provide the following privacy nutrition labels:

• Data Used to Track You: None - we do not track users across apps or websites

• Data Linked to You: Email address, name (for account purposes only)

• Data Not Linked to You: Anonymized usage analytics, crash logs

• Data Not Collected: Location (except when School Block is enabled), contacts, photos, browsing history

12. Data Deletion Request

You have the right to request deletion of your personal data at any time. Here's how:

• In-App: Go to Settings → Account → Delete My Account

• Email: Send a request to privacy@vysion.com with subject "Data Deletion Request"

• Response Time: We will process your request within 30 days

• What Gets Deleted: All personal data, child profiles, settings, and usage history

Note: Some data may be retained as required by law (e.g., payment records for tax purposes).

13. Third-Party Services

Our app uses the following third-party services that may collect data:

• Firebase (Google): For authentication and crash reporting

• Stripe: For payment processing

• Google Play Services: For app distribution and updates

14. International Data Transfers

Your data is stored on servers located in the European Union. If we need to transfer data outside the EU, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
